Twitter Party to a Healthier You!

As women, we are in a daily struggle to manage our lives as well as our kids and parents.  While juggling kid’s activities, jobs, cleaning, classes or doctors appointments, we oftentimes forget about ourselves. All women need to know the steps to understand the symptoms and reduce the risk of illness including heart disease.  And, we also need to be able to manage the health of our children and our older parents.  This is why I am so excited to be working with Heart360, an online health management system that provides both information and the tools needed to assist us in staying healthy.

So, be sure to mark your calendar for December 16, 2010 at 8PM EST and join the Safety Mom Heart360 Twitter Party.  Dr. Eric Peterson, Professor of Medicine in the Division of Cardiology and the Associate Director of the Duke Clinical Research Institute will be there to answer your questions as well as discuss how to monitor your health, communicate more effectively with your health care providers and help manage your family’s medical issues.

In the meantime, go to www.heart360.com, sign up and start tracking your medical heart health today!

To attend, simply follow @safetymom & @hearthub.  Please sure to use #health360 on all your tweets for a chance to win one of three $25 Amazon gift cards!

Alison Rhodes is the founder of Safety Mom Enterprises and Safety Mom Solutions, the premier baby proofing and child safety company in the New York, New Jersey and Connecticut area. Alison is a family safety expert, TV personality and consultant.
